working to help the sea turtles (e-mail)

Dear Yadira,
How are you doing? I have been on the Greek island Zakynthos. I am working like a volunteer helping to the turtle conservation. I really love doing it!
We rescue the eggs in the sand of the beach because the tourist ate and killed them. We also cleaned the beach because the garbage went to the water and the turtles mistakes with food and they eat the plastic bags. We also talked with the tourist and patrolled the beach to say all about the turtles and invite to clean the area
The best part about this is the in the morning when we do a survey of nests and eggs, it is tiring but we see an spectacular sunrise.
I hope you´re having a great day, too. Write back when you get a chance
All the best
Enrike!

ENDANGERED ANIMALS!

The red wolf is classified by the IUCN as an animal critically endangered (2008), is that these wolves there is only one reintroduced population in northeastern North Carolina, USA in an area that has 6,000 km ², as this species became extinct in the wild in 1980, being re-introduced by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
In 2007 there were approximately 207 captive individuals in the U.S. and less than 150 in the wild. Of copies are reintroduction outside of numbers have not reliable.

Not to be confused with other species known locally as the red wolf Cuon or red dog (Cuon alpinus) and the maned wolf or maned wolf (Chrysocion brachyurus), sometimes called red wolf in Brazil.

Mexican Bear was a subspecies of the brown bear (Ursus arctos) in which no known long before that lead to extinction in 1964.

Called grizzly or brown bear Mexico, although these names are also used for other subspecies of the brown bear, and therefore can be misleading. In English it is called Mexican Grizzly bear, although care must be taken to see if they refer to this subspecies or another.

Diversification of sharks is huge, since it appeared as the first shark for 400 to 350 million years to the present have appeared no less than 368 species distributed in 8 orders, plus most of these species existed in the period Jurassic, so they are considered living fossils.

Hammerheads down the order specifically Carchariniformes unlike the white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is the order of Lamniformes; within the order of hammerheads are nine species in two genera.

The great hammerhead (Sphyrna mokarran) is a shark considered endangered by the IUCN in 2007. Previously, due to the lack of information about the fish had no defined status. This indicates the crucial need to study the species, and that greater knowledge of these leads us to know your threats and if necessary help preserve them before it's too late

Legend about "the planchada"

They said that since 1847 it appears a nurse who walks with the uniform neatly pressed, hence being told "The Planchada" which is responsible for visiting all patients to ensure they take their medications. Because the legend says who in the past was bad and did some crimes.
They say that she is tall, blond and she has blue eyes, immediately distinguished from other nurses for their clothes from another time.

a traditional day in Mexico

A traditional date in Mexico is the day of the three wise men . Every year on January 6th  the children write a letter to the magi and make a request, toys, or something like that. That night the people buy or do a bread containing some children, according to the tradition is the god child . But that is another story, named Candlemas Day.  It’s a way to remember the religion and giving gifts to the children
That’s an old tradition, it began in the 3rd century in Spain, they created a bread to celebrate the three wise men
